A Correspondent, Tezpur, August 8: Dabur India, CIFOR-ICRAF & TRAAHI, the social arm of Kirat Biotech Private Limited, successfully conducted a large-scale plantation drive and training workshop in Tezpur on the other day. Around 250 farmers participated in the program receiving valuable training and over 7,000 saplings of Arjun, Jamun, Neem, Karanj, Moringa, Bael and Amaltas were distributed for plantation. This initiative was aimed to empower rural communities by promoting sustainable cultivation practices and income generation for farmers, while also contributing to environmental conservation. The program was organized by TRAAHI in collaboration with Jivanti Welfare and Charitable Trust (JWCT), New Delhi and sponsored by Dabur India Limited and World Agroforestry (CIFOR- ICRAF).
