Staff Reporter, Margherita: In a proud moment for the town of Margherita, Deepjoy Paul, a student of Margherita Public Higher Secondary School, has been selected to visit the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) under a special educational initiative by the Government of India. He is among twelve meritorious students from Assam chosen for this prestigious opportunity.
Deepjoy, the son of Nitai Pal and Dipali Pal, hails from the Vineer Mill New Line area of Margherita in Tinsukia district. Currently a Class 12 student, his achievement reflects remarkable perseverance, discipline, and academic excellence.
Coming from a small town often considered educationally underdeveloped, Deepjoy’s success has become a beacon of hope for students across the region. His selection has not only brought immense pride to his family and school but also inspired the youth of Margherita to dream big.
Speaking to the media, Deepjoy expressed heartfelt gratitude to his parents and teachers, saying, “This achievement is the result of my parents’ sacrifices, my teachers’ guidance, and my own dedication. Visiting ISRO is a dream come true and motivates me to pursue science with greater passion.”
