Marking the start of the annual plantation season, the inaugural site spans 20 hectares and is focused on sustainable agricultural practices. Officials stated that the project will open up new livelihood opportunities for local farmers and play a crucial role in enhancing Assam’s agricultural output. The plantation drive is seen as a vital contribution to the NMEO-OP goals and a model for future agri-based collaborations in the Northeast.
