E-magazine "Sharada" launched

Staff Reporter, Barpeta, August 9: A meeting of the District Academic Core Group was held on wednesday at the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) in Barpeta. During this meeting, an e-magazine titled "Sharada," published by the Teacher Training Component of Samagra Shiksha Barpeta was unveiled by Nasir Uddin, the in-charge Principal of DIET Barpeta. In his speech, he highly praised editor Chandan Kumar Das, the editorial board members, and Sitanga Deka, DPO TT, Samagra Shiksha Barpeta. The magazine, edited by Chandan Kumar Das, Assistant teacher cum BRP, Barpeta Educational Block, has an advisory board consisting of Jayanta Bora, ADC (Education) cum District Mission Coordinator of Samagra Shiksha, Barpeta, Lakhimi Dutta (former District Mission Coordinator of Samagra Shiksha, Barpeta), and Sitanga Deka (District Programme Officer of Samagra Shiksha, Barpeta). The editorial board members include Champak Kumar Nath, Prasenjit Sarma, Anjumani Deka, Taru Das, Keshabananda Ojah and Harshajit Das. The magazine is now available for public access at www.sharadaemagazine.online. During the meeting, the activities of each educational block from the previous month were reviewed, and plans were made for teacher training to be conducted at the block level for Nipun Axom. The Academic Core Group meeting was attended by Block Elementary Education Officers from each educational block of Barpeta district, Block in-charge lecturers from the District Institute of Education and Training, Minakshi Das (District Consultant for FLN in Barpeta), Subhash Sutradhar (Principal of Howly Normal School) and block officials from various educational blocks.
