Guwahati, July 25: “The untiring
endeavour of Samkalp is praiseworthy. Samkalp is not just an organization but a
revolution that has been trying to make structure of Indian administration
better, competitive and adaptable with the changing situation based on the
edifice of Indian culture and heritage” said Assam Governor Prof. Jagdish Mukhi
while attending a Guru Samman Samaroh virtually here today which was held in
New Delhi.
The Governor said that Samkalp has
chosen a right way to pay their tributes to all the Gurus on the pious occasion
of Gurupurnima. It is a matter of pride that Samkalp under the Gurukul Yojana
has been providing direction and guidance to the under-privileged and
meritorious students to become a part of the civil service system.
He also said that the relation between
Guru and students is unique. There are many examples of Guru-students
relationship which are the tenets of India’s civilization march.
Prof. Mukhi further said, “What we do
for the nation or society is not a donation but a prime duty of everyone. The
type of sincerity that we show towards our family should also be shown to our
society. If we can cultivate such thoughts then only we can win over anger,
jealousy etc. from our personality”.
Chairman of National Green Tribunal
Justice Adarsh Kumar Goel was also present on the occasion and said that civil
service is a commitment to serve the nation with utmost dedication and
sincerity.
