Shyamkanu Mahanta Reportedly Suffers Severe Discomfort While in CID Custody

Staff Reporter, Guwahati: In a significant development, reports indicate that Shyamkanu Mahanta, who has been in CID custody for nearly 12 days, is facing severe physical discomfort and unease.

Sources claim that Mahanta has been complaining of intense body pain and weakness during his confinement. He has reportedly requested permission from investigating officials to receive a body massage, citing persistent stiffness and strain.

It is learned that Mahanta has been sleeping on the floor inside the lock-up for several days, which has allegedly aggravated his condition. Before his detention, he is said to have maintained a regular routine of bi-monthly body massages to manage muscle strain — a practice he reportedly considers vital for his physical well-being.
