Assam Rifles organizes lecture on rain water harvesting

Staff Reporter, Biswanath Chariali: A lecture and demonstration on Rainwater Harvesting was conducted at Lokra today. The event aimed to raise awareness among local villagers about sustainable water conservation practices. A total of 40 individuals attended, including 24 women and 16 men. The session highlighted the importance, methods and benefits of rainwater harvesting through an informative lecture followed by a practical demonstration. The initiative received positive response and encouraged locals to adopt water-saving techniques in their daily lives.
