Diamond jubilee celebration of MV Teachers Association

Staff Reporter, Biswanath Chariali: The closing ceremony of the year-long celebration of the diamond jubilee of All Assam MV School Teachers Association will be held at Sivasagar with a three day programme in July this year, stated a press release. The All Assam MV School Teachers Association is one of the oldest teachers associations of the state which was founded in 1949. It attained its diamond jubilee year of inception in 2024. The inaugural programme of the year-long diamond jubilee celebration began on July 7 last year at Goalpara. The association has observed the year-long programme amid various agendas throughout the state including a series of competitions amongst the school students. The closing ceremony of the diamond jubilee celebration and the 55th annual conference of the teachers association will be held at Sivasagar with a three-day programme on July 8, 9 and 10 at Najira, Sivasagar. The closing ceremony and the annual session have been convened by the Sivsagar and Najira district committee of the All Assam MV School Teachers Association, stated a press release issued by Ranjit Borthakur and Jayanta Kumar Das, president and the secretary of the state committee. The association is planning to publish its mouthpiece 'Shiksha Pradeep' this year.
