Staff Reporter, Guwahati: In a transformative move for higher education in Northeast India, Assam Royal Global University (RGU) has unveiled Integrated BA and BSc programs featuring Civil Services coaching in collaboration with SPM IAS Academy and OnCampus. The initiative, set to begin in the 2025–26 academic session, combines undergraduate studies with preparation for UPSC, APSC, and other competitive exams. Dr. AK Pansari, Chancellor of RGU, highlighted the program’s vision: “This initiative is about nurturing leaders who can serve the nation with integrity.” Academic Chairman Prof. (Dr.) AK Buragohain emphasized the program’s unique blend of academic rigor and targeted coaching. OnCampus CEO Utpal Kanta noted the role of digital tools and career support in student success. SPM IAS Academy Director Satyajit Kumar stressed the academy’s commitment to accessible, high-quality coaching, citing their success rates of 75.48% in APSC 2022 and 82.55% in 2023. The BA program includes subjects such as Sociology, Economics, and Political Science, while the BSc track features core sciences like Physics, Chemistry, and Zoology. Civil services coaching will be embedded throughout. This partnership aims to empower students across the Northeast with holistic education and professional guidance, equipping them for India’s most prestigious competitive exams.
