News Desk, Guwahati: In a significant step toward advancing healthcare in the Northeast, Apollo Excelcare Hospital, Guwahati, in partnership with the Nagaland Private Doctors Association (NPDA), successfully organized a Multispecialty Continuing Medical Education (CME) program at Zone Niathu Resort, Dimapur. The event brought together over 120 doctors from across Nagaland, creating an invaluable platform for sharing clinical knowledge, exchanging professional insights, and fostering regional medical collaboration.
The CME, recognized by the Nagaland Medical Council, awarded 3 and 4 credit hours to delegates and speakers respectively. It featured expert-led sessions by some of Apollo Excelcare’s leading consultants, including cardiologists, oncologists, nephrologists, and orthopedic specialists. Topics ranged from advanced cardiology and cardiac surgery to renal transplantation, cancer care, hematology, chronic pain management, and sports medicine.
Dr. Neil Bardoloi, Director & Head of Cardiology, and Dr. Manuj Kumar Saikia, Senior Cardiac Surgeon, were among the distinguished speakers who engaged participants in detailed discussions of complex medical cases and emerging treatment strategies. The CME facilitated interactive dialogue, allowing local physicians to directly connect with Apollo’s specialists and gain insights into cutting-edge practices.
