North Lakhimpur, October 12: International Humanity Mission (approved by the Justice and Empowerment Department of Government of India) and NIITI Aayog honoured Dr. Moon Rudrapal, a resident of North Lakhimpur town of Lakhimpur district, by conferring Nelson Mandela Global Brilliance Award. He was conferred this prestigious award on October 9 in Indore, Madhya Pradesh in the International Conference Summit-2022 for his social works related to the development and education of children and women's safety. The award carries a momento, medal and felicitation letter. Dr. Moon Rudrapal is the only person from Assam who got this prestigious award. He is the son of Subal Chandra Rudrapal and Saraswati Rudrapal. Notably, Dr. Rudrapal has been providing medical treatment to the poor people by organising medical camps in the Horizon Colony of North Lakhimpur town for many years. He illustrated a great example of social service by providing free medical treatment to the poor school students and giving them study materials as well as paying their school fees. His role in the development of children and women's safety is noteworthy. As a Homeopathic doctor, he provides free medical treatment to the economically weak people.
