Staff Reporter, North Lakhimpur: The free of cost summer teaching camp organized by Na-Ali Regional Youth Society, organized this year too like the previous years, concluded with success today. The youth forum has been conducting the summer camp every year for a decade not only for the teaching of the educational courses but also for the practice of music, dance, arts, literature and culture for the comprehensive development of the students of the area. In connection with the conclusion of the fifteen day long summer camp, a ceremonial programme-cum-public meeting was organized at the Navarup High School premises under the management of Sunil Doley, Siddhartha Pathak and the members of the Na-Ali Regional Youth Society. The meeting was chaired by Bhupen Barman, the headmaster of Navarup High School. Writer-cum-journalist Ranjit Kakati attended the meeting as appointed speaker who delivered an encouraging lecture by addressing the students. In his deliberation, Ranjit Kakati laid emphasis on pursuing man-making, character-building education so that the students could achieve their desired success and targeted goal. He appealed to the students to study hard and learn more to possess the capacity to find the solution to any problem of practical life and adverse situations. In the same programme, the students of the area who passed the High School Leaving Certificate Examination and Higher Secondary Final Examination with flying colours by securing star distinction marks with first division this year were felicitated with certificates of appreciation, gamosa and bundle of books. Moreover, quiz competition, essay writing competition, creative dance competition etc. were also held among the students who participated in the summer camp. The winners of the competitions were honoured with a bundle of books and certificates of appreciation. A galaxy of the prominent people of the area, guardians and parents of the students and local people were among those who were present in the meeting. On behalf of the organizing committee, Sunil Doley, Siddhartha Pathak, Manoranjan Das, Krishna Das, Bipul Doley extended heartfelt thanks to everyone concerned for their support and cooperation forwarded for making the whole programme successful.
