Dhakuakhana Teachers Training College celebrates teachers day

Staff Reporter, Dhakuakhana, September 5: Dr Radhakrishnan was born on September 5, 1888 and every year his birthday is celebrated as Teacher’s Day to remember and celebrate Dr Radhakrishnan’s contributions towards the world of teaching. The 61st Teachers' day was celebrated at Dhakuakhana Teachers Training College. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Prodip Chandra Bora, principal of the college. Dr. Bora and the trainer Leena Buragohain addressed the trainees and informed them of many important things. The event was graced by music performances by Kankana Lekharu, Jahnavi Saikia and flute playing by Hiren Baruah. Teacher Rumi Gogoi, Minakshi Senapati, Sangita Saikia, Nabajyoti Saikia, Dipsikha Dutta, Jayanta Barpathra, Bedabrat Gogoi, Manalisha Rajkhowa, Puspita Bora, Jyotismit Dutta, Nitumoni Medhi, Ankur Boruah, Achyut Sarmah and Papu Baruah, Bubul Dutta, Chandrajit Shaikia, Bidyadhar Baruah and other trainees of the college were present in the programme.
