NYK organized district Level Yuva Utsav in North Lakhimpur

Staff Reporter, North Lakhimpur, October 12: Under the aegis of North Lakhimpur Nehru Yuva Kendra (under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India), the District Level Yuva Utsav was held today with a day-long programme at the Uttar Purvanchal Sanskritik Sangha,Ahuchaul, North Lakhimpur. On this occasion, six competitions including speech,poem writing, drawing, mobile photography, group dance etc. were held among the youths of Lakhimpur district. More than hundred youths coming from different parts of the district took part in the competitions. In the youth festival, District Development Commissioner Monuj Kumar Baruah, Lakhimpur Nehru Yuva Kendra youth co-ordinator Sujata Bhowmik, Lakhimpur Commerce College Principal Dr. Lohit Hazarika, Gogamukh College Principal Dilip Kumar Jha, North Lakhimpur Government H.S. School Principal Dilip Hazarika, Sportsperson Ankita Gogoi,Debajit Chubba,Rupamjyoti Chetia of North Lakhimpur Nehru Yuva Kendra and many other dignitaries of the district were present and delivered lectures. National volunteers and ex-volunteers of North Lakhimpur Nehru Yuva Kendra and local people were also present in the youth festival. North Lakhimpur Nehru Yuva Kendra youth co-ordinator Sujata Bhowmik thanked everyone for making the District Level Yuva Utsav a great success.
