AHSEC Chairman visits Garchiga Tribal HSS

Staff Reporter, North Lakhimpur, August 21: Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) Chairman Rukma Gohain Baruah had attended Garchiga Tribal Higher Secondary School, North Lakhimpur on Saturday and visited the school. During the visit, he took stock of the infrastructure of the school and interacted with the school authority and the official of the school managing committee. An examination centre for the HS Final Examination will be allowed to run at Garchiga Tribal Higher Secondary School, the chairman announced during his visit. He also announced that there will be a centre of the State Open School at the same school. He further informed about the various steps the AHSEC has taken and will take in respect of admission of students, improvement of teaching ability, smooth conduct of examination, improvement of administrative ability etc. "The AHSEC is going to open a portal in which the teachers will upload their daily classroom activities and the AHSEC will monitor it,"he said. He urged the Principal of the school to conduct the HS Final Examination Centre smoothly which will be permitted to run at the school. The Principal of the school Mainul Hoque honoured the Chairman with a phulam gamosha. Visiting the school, the Chairman expressed great satisfaction. During the visit, the subject teacher of English at Nowboicha Higher Secondary School Mahen Saikia accompanied the AHSEC Chairman Rukma Gohain Baruah.
