Abhiruchi Club & TOSEHIM (AC) organised plantation drive

Hrishikesh Dutta, Kakopather, June 28: One of the renowned active NGO of Kakopather 'Abhiruchi Club' along with The Orchid Society of Eastern Himalaya (TOSEHIM) of Assam Circle carried a great initiative to planted trees from Kakopather's Tokupather Bypass to Route to Bhupen Hazarika Bridge (Sadiya). Moreover they also felicitated the Orchid Man of Assam Khyanjeet Gogoi with Certificate, Gamusa, Seleng, Momento and a beautiful art portrait of himself, painted by renowned artist and secretary of Abhiruchi Club Tapan Mahatta. Advisor of the Abhiruchi Club Dr. Ajit Kumar Baruah, President Kakopathar Press Club Bijoy Dutta, Tapan Sharmah from Kakopathar College, OC of Kakopather Thana Nabin Chetia, Subedar of Kakopathar Army Camp Dhurba Sharma, film director and producer cum Rajat Kamal Award Winner Jaycheng Joy Dohutia, Nip Handique, NGO coordinator Manash Pratim Dutta, Hoonmoni Chaliha from AJYCP, AASU Officials along with other renowned socialist and environmentalist along with members of Abhiruchi Club were present during the auspicious programme. At the end Nip Handique was also titled and felicitated as Environmentalist of Kakopather by the Club with Gamusa. People of the circle are seen admiring the programme from the bottom of their heart and are blessed to carry more such great initiatives in near future.
