Aalo, February 26: Altogether 75 cyclists from the 5 Infantry Brigade under the aegis of 56 Infantry Division of Indian Army conducted 75 km Cycle Race with theme ‘Khelo India’ as a part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav on February 25 last. The event was flagged off by Veer Mata, mother of Kriti Chakra late Tape Yajo amid cheer and applause. On the auspicious occasion a Basketball Match between 4 Jakli and local youth of the district. The main aim of the event was to build up a bond of army-civil camaraderie and army’s ever willing quest to guard the nation, come up for civilian causes and to promote sports activities among the local youths. and with the cooperation of civilian populace.
