Udalguri, Sept 30: The Assam Kick Boxing Association has bagged the third position in the medal tally at the recently concluded Twelfth National Thai Boxing Championships 2021 in Goa. The Assam team played in a number of events including junior, sub-junior and senior. Out of the 38 players in the team, 23 were able to win medals. Six players respectively Ribha Das, Gun Gun Yadav, Minima Rabha, Alin Hazarika, Sujit Debnath, Manas Pratim Saikia have won gold medals. The three silver medalists are Manju Rabha, Angraj Hazarika, Mrinmoy Bharali, and the bronze medalists are Parismita Das, Bandana Boro, Sangeeta Tamang, Tarali Rabha, Anup Kumar Deka, Bishnu Sabar, Nijora Boro, Ajit Mushahary, Shibasis Boro, Rijuraj Patra, Sumon Rowtia, Niyapi Baruah, Rajdeep Hazarika and Rupali Boro. They all reached Khoirabari railway station on Thursday. As soon as they arrived, sports lovers of Khoirabari and Bhergaon warmly greeted them.
