Two Killed, Teen Injured in Khetri Road Accident

Hareswar Bora, Khetri: Two people were killed and a teenage girl critically injured in a road accident at Chokhura in Khetri on Wednesday morning. Police said a Maruti S-Cross (registration number AS 01 ET 2351) travelling from Guwahati towards Raha lost control and crashed into a large tree on the road divider. The impact left the occupants trapped inside the mangled vehicle for a prolonged period. One of the victims, identified as Gajendra Mohan Dev Sharma of Raha, died on the spot. The injured teenage girl was rushed to hospital in critical condition. Khetri traffic police later removed the vehicle from the scene.
