Royal Bengal Tiger Cub Rescued in Gomeri

Staff Reporter, Biswanath Chariali: A Bengal tiger cub was rescued this morning from a bamboo grove of one Paban Das, a resident of Gomeri village under Helem PS. According to information, OC Helem Police Station received information that a Royal Bengal tiger cub was spotted in a bamboo grove behind the house of one Paban Das, resident of Gomeri under Helem PS. Acting swiftly, the Officer-in-Charge immediately informed the Forest Department and reached the location to manage the situation and control the crowd that had gathered. With coordinated efforts, the tiger cub was safely rescued by Manoj Biswakarma, a local resident and a national boxer in collaboration with the Forest personnel and assisted by Helem PS staff.
