Staff Reporter, Baksa: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma joined over 2,000 participants at Salbari in Baksa district to celebrate the 11th International Yoga Day on Saturday. The event saw enthusiastic turnout from people across various sections of society. Also present were BTR Chief Executive Member Pramod Boro, Ministers Jayanta Malla Baruah and Urkhao Gwra Brahma, local MLA Phanidhar Talukdar, and several BTR executive members and councilors, reflecting a united push for health and wellness in the region. The celebration featured mass yoga sessions promoting the benefits of holistic living. Speaking to the media afterward, the Chief Minister emphasized yoga's role in enhancing physical and mental well-being, especially among youth, and also shared key insights on Assam’s developmental priorities.
