Drawing competition on Republic Day held at Nagaon

Hareswar Bora, Nagaon, January 28: Anupurvik Art and Craft Institute, in association with the USA Book of World Records, organized a drawing competition on the occasion of Republic Day at Nagaon Bengali Girls' High School. The prize distribution ceremony was conducted by Rajiv Das, principal of the institute. Noted artist Asim Sarma was the judge, while guests like Rabindra Chandra Das, Narayan Majumdar, Yashwant Sarma, Anima Saikia, Hareswar Borah, Nayan Goswami, Deepak Bardoloi, Manoj Kalita, Puspanjali Bezbaruah, Smriti Ranjan Chamua, and Bhaskarjyoti Saikia attended the prize distribution ceremony. Seven child artists were awarded the "Asia Talent Award" for their outstanding performances. The winners were Ranabir Das, Shubhamita Sarkar, Parignyan Saikia, Shreyashi Bardoloi, Sayantika Sarkar, Mandweep Das, and Jihan Ghrith Koushik. The drawing competition was held in different categories, and the winners were Category 'A': Gargi Saha (1st), Manav Das (2nd), Pankita Mondal (3rd), Riyaangsh Mondal (4th), and Barbee Saikia (5th). In Category 'B': Arpita Nandi (1st), Meghna Dey (2nd), Shantanu Saikia (3rd), Priya Puspa Hazarika (4th), and Priyanshi Priya Barbaruah (5th) while in Category 'C', Bidya Choudhury (1st), Shreyashi Bordoloi (2nd), Shraddha Nandi (3rd), Jyotishmit Das Purkaistha (4th), and Palak Agarwal (5th). In Category 'D', Nayantara Bhuyan (1st), Triyasha Dutta (2nd), Ayush Gun (3rd), Disha Debnath (4th), and Jihan Ghrith Koushik (5th). The event was made possible with the help of Anupurvik Art and Craft Institute's teachers and students, including Snigdha Bhattacharjee Das, Chimpi Mondal, Joyti Pal, Debangshu Das, Dipjyoti Roy, Geeta Debnath, and others.
