Mysterious death of wild elephant in Pengeri

Staff Reporter, Margherita, June 21: A wild elephant died unnaturally at Brahmajan in Pengeri tonight. Locals spotted the dead wild elephant in a tea garden in Brahmajan in the morning and informed the forest department. Forest department personnel reached the spot and rescued the wild dead Body and took all necessary arrangements for post-mortem of the dead elephant. The exact cause of the death of the wild elephant is yet to be ascertained. Forest officials have commented on knowing that the exact cause of the elephant's death can be ascertained only in the post-mortem report.
