BHB College, Sarupeta accredited NAAC B++

Staff Reporter, Bajali, February 23: The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has accredited BHB College, Sarupeta in Barpeta with B++ Grade (CGPA 2.93). The NAAC peer team visited the college on February 13 & 14 and took stock of all academic and allied aspects of the college. The NAAC peer team was led by Dr Mohan Venkata Ram Budati, Professor, Andhra University & chairperson NAAC Peer Team; Dr. Syed Zahoor Ahmed Geelani, Dean & Head, School of Education Central University of Kashmir and member co-ordinator NAAC Peer Team; and Dr. P. Anjankumar Naidu, Principal of Dhote Bandhu Science College, Maharashtra and member NAAC Peer Team. The NAAC peer team convened a meeting with the college principal and heads of departments and visited and inspected the departments. The team also interacted with the teachers, students, parents and alumni. All the stakeholders of the college wholeheartedly participated in the two days' assessment process. The Principal of the college, Dr Nayan Jyoti Das expressed his gratitude to all concerned for their goodwill and cooperation during the process of the assessment. Cabinet Minister for Higher Education, School Education etc., Government of Assam Dr. Ranoj Pegu took to social media to congratulate the college for its achievement. Minister Pegu posted on Facebook & X “I hope the college will continue its efforts for better performance.”
