IIE undertakes Special Swachhta Campaign 2.0

Staff Reporetr, Guwahati, October, 21: IIE, Guwahati has undertaken Special Campaign 2.0 for Swachhta and disposal of pending matters, old files, identify scraps and redundant materials and cleanliness drive in its office premise, various cluster and Van Dhan Kendras across the state as per Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG) in the Union Ministry of Personnel Government of India guidelines and order of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship. The Special Campaign 2.0 (Phase 2) is being conducted by all the Ministries, Government of India between October 2 to 31. The Campaign 2.0(Phase 1) began with the preparatory phase last month during which the institute identified the pending references, items to be disposed of, old files, identified scraps and redundant materials and activities necessary for cleanliness drive. The institute weeded out identified references and unnecessary records and items are being disposed off and cleanliness drives on a daily basis starting from 2nd of this month when the campaign phase started. Dr Lalit Sharma, Director IIE called upon the employees and staff to take up the campaign with utmost sincerity to make it a grand success. Activities like workshops on the importance of cleanliness in person and office, awareness campaign on cleanliness through social media, Rangoli making competition from waste materials were held to mark the Special Campaign 2.0.
