Dr Sanjib Kr Borkakoti nominated as member of CEC under IUCN

Hareswar Borah Nagaon, November 14: Dr Sanjib Kr Borkakoti, retired professor of Nagaon ADP College has been nominated as an active member of Commission on Education and Communication under International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN). It was informed to Dr Sanjib Kr Borkakoti by Sean Southey, chairperson of IUCN Commission on Education and Communication through an email. Reacting to this development, Dr Borkakoti said to this correspondent here that with this new responsibility, he had to expand his network, share expertise to build a global community and also had to commit to using education and communication in support of conservation of nature.
