Development Dialogue on Vikasit Bharat@2047 held at ADBU

Staff Reporter, Guwahati, November 14: A nationwide series of seminars is being conducted in alignment with the efforts of the Ministry of Education, Government of India, and in partnership with the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), with the objective of realising the vision set forth by the Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi. The purpose of these seminars is to foster dialogues regarding the implemented transformative changes that form the foundational elements for the advancement of a wealthy India by the year 2047. On November 14, 2023, Assam Don Bosco University organised a development debate as part of an ongoing series. The discourse entitled "A Strategic Plan for India's Ascendancy as a Global Power by 2047" was presented by Binod Bawri, Chairman of the Bawri Group and the visionary behind the establishment of ‘Think India’. The programme commenced with Mrs. Smriti Priya Medhi, the program's anchor, delivering an introduction to Amrit Kaal Vimarsh. The event commenced with a welcome address presented by Fr. (Dr.) Jose Palely, the Vice Chancellor of Assam Don Bosco University. Following this, the guest speaker of the Amrit Kaal Vimarsh programme, Binod Bawri, proceeded to deliver his lecture. The lecture delivered at the Amrit Kaal Vimarsh programme was both enlightening and thought-provoking. The occasion was attended by the Fr. Johny Jose, Registrar, Assam Don Bosco University, Fr. Joy Kachappilly, Rector, Assam Don Bosco University, Prof. Manoranjan Kalita, Director, School of Technology, Prof. Vibhuti Jha, Director, School of Commerce and Management along with the students, faculty and staff members of the university. There was a question and answer session, a feedback session, and a vote of appreciation ensued. The programme concluded with the performance of the National Anthem.
