LCC organised Road Safety awareness drive

Staff Reporter, North Lakhimpur, October 13: An awareness programme on Road Safety was organized by the Transport Management Committee of Lakhimpur Commerce College in collaboration with the District Transport Office, North Lakhimpur today. The programme was started with the addressing of the dignitaries by Dr. Dadul Rajkonwar, coordinator of IQAC, Lakhimpur Commerce College. Prof. A. K. Gogoi, Convener of the Transport Management Committee delivered the objective of the programme followed by an interactive session with Rajib Jyoti Bhuyan, Enforcement Officer, Lakhimpur, and he also delivered a speech on the rules and regulations for road safety. Dr. Lohit Hazarika, Principal of Lakhimpur Commerce College delivered a speech on the importance of Road Safety and emphasized on the importance of protecting life of students through the safety measures. The programme ended with a vote of thanks.
