Swachh Bharat Mission: Cleanliness fortnight at JNV Dhubri

Staff Reporter, Dhubri, September 4: As a part of the nationwide Swachh Bharat Mission, JNV Dhubri started observing the "Swachchhta Pakhwada"(Cleanliness fortnight) on September 1 last that will be ended on September 15 next. In inaugural programme, all the staff and students administered the "Swachchhta Pledge" to contribute in Cleanliness of surroundings, society and country as well. During the drive, a number of activities like social awareness procession, painting, speeches etc. related to cleanliness are scheduled to be held. Each day of the 15-day-long drive is associated with a particular theme pertaining to cleanliness and special emphasis will be given to bring about improved standards of cleanliness in the school. Addressing the gathering at the inaugural ceremony held on September 1, principal Diensh Prasad said that, being a responsible citizen of our country we must contribute to cleanliness.
