Kakopathar, August 4: Rupai Battalion under the guidance of Spear Corps organized a seminar at Doomdooma College which was conducted by Rupai Battalion and Pragati Edutech Private Limited, Guwahati. The career oriented awareness seminar was conducted in two parts. The first part of the seminar was conducted by the Rupai Battalion on 'Agnipath Scheme' and types of Officers' entry into the Indian Army. The second part of the seminar was conducted by the Training Team of Pragati Edutech on 'Tourism and Hotel Management' course which is run at the Pragati Edutech Campus in Guwahati. This was followed by an interactive session and registration. A total of 342 candidates attended the seminar out of which 194 candidates registered themselves.
The seminar was attractive and motivating as it was a golden opportunity for employment. The educational and career oriented seminar was an eye opener which will help reduce unemployment and cultivate peace and goodwill in Upper Assam.
