Tai language teaching workshop starts in Margherita

Bikash Baruah, Tinsukia, July 1:The Tai language teaching workshop and cultural ceremony to be held in the memory of Damsaw Girin Mahung Baruah was inaugurated today. The teaching, workshop and cultural festival will be held from July 1st to July 30.Margherita S.D.O Palash Rajkumar Ahom inaugurated the Tai language teaching, workshop and cultural ceremony organized at Town High School in Margherita with a month-long programme.The Organizing committee said that rajya sabha MP Mansao Pavitra Margherita, Assam government cabinet minister Mansao Yogen Mohan, local MLA Bhaskar Sharma and several Tai ahom dignitaries will be present at the closing ceremony to felicitate prominent scholars and well wishers of Tai Ahom.

A cultural ceremony of Tai Ahom has also been organized in touch with the closing ceremony. Organizing Committee has called for all attendance as well as support in each programme of Tai language teaching, workshops and cultural ceremonies.
