Senior physicians feted on doctors' day at Nagaon

HARESWAR BORAH, Nagaon, July 1: On occasion of doctors' day, the members of Nagaon Lions Club today felicitated two senior physicians of the small town at their respective residence. A delegate consisting of the newly elected president and secretary of the club - respectively Malchand Agarwal and Saranga Ballabh Goswami, Harsada Soulangi (treasurer), Susanta Borthakur, Biswajit Mahanta, Ajoy Mittal and other rushed to the residences of nonagenarian physicians - Dr Abdul Motin and Dr Pramod Kumar Poddar this morning and felicitated both the senior physicians with a appraisal letter, memento, phulam gamusha and a tiny plant each. The club members also took stocks of their health care and wished for a longer span of life, a release added.
