Non-Cooperation movement affects office work in Naduar RC

Anjan Baskota, Biswanath Chariali, July 14: An eight-hour non-cooperation movement was staged by the land surveyors (lot mandal), employees of Naduar revenue circle office under Biswanath district in front of the office as a protest against the physical assault on the circle officer and land surveyors days back at Jamugurihat. It is to be mentioned here that one Dipankar Nath, a resident of Dekachuk, Jamugurihat died due to electrocution days back. A team from Naduar revenue circle including Dr. Akashdeep Kakaty, executive magistrate cum circle officer of Naduar revenue circle and lot mandals visited the accident site to enquire about the case. But a section of excited villagers attacked the team physically. Demanding immediate arrest of culprits involved in the case and to proceed a legal action against those involved in the case, the employees of Naduar revenue circle office staged an eight-hour demonstration today.
