Tinsukia, June 21: A fatal road accident took place at night on National Highway 315 in Margherita.A scooty rider died on the spot in the accident.The road accident also took place near Makum Bagan Tiniali under Margherita police station. Ravi Prakash Singh (38), with a scooty number AS-23-Y-8135, was on his way home from Margherita when an unidentified car in the rear hit the road.Ravi Prakash died on the spot in the accident.Local concerned people have alleged that road accidents were caused in Margherita due to some traffic violation scarcity riders .Police are yet to trace the vehicle that caused the accident.Ravi Prakash's death has cast a shadow over the entire region.
