The entire Tinsukia district has now become a hotspot for drugs.A section of people are running a lucrative business of drugs, including drugs, opium, etc.In the greed of easy money, a group of youths have started a hub of deadly banned drugs.On Wednesday night, the police raided on the basis of a tip-off and arrested 3 persons, including 13 kg opium, from Digboi Borzan Maya bazaar Market.The operation was conducted in the presence of a high-level officer of Tinsukia district in collaboration with the two officers in charge of Digboi and Pengeri police stations led by Margherita sub-division police officer Hemant Boro.Barzan VDP extends full cooperation to the police in the arrest of opium mafia. The three opium mafias under detention Ganesh Chetri, Hemanta Chetri, and Kamal Chetri All the houses are said to be in Pengeri Respectively.
