Dhemaji turned into Mini Dispur for the first time

Dhemaji, Sept. 30 :    Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sharma, who has brought about extensive reforms in the administration after assuming office, held a cabinet meeting outside the capital Dispur for the first time today. Preparations for the cabinet meeting held in Dhemaji district were completed with great pomp. Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sharma arrived in Dhemaji late last night for the programme. 11 ministers including the Chief Minister will also hold discussions with local organisations of the district. Meanwhile CM Dr. Sharma also participated in a programme of sports department at Batgharia in the district and facilitated several sportspersons who played national-international level for the state. While Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Ranjit Kumar Dass inaugurated three schemes of Jal Jeevan Mission. Similarly, the Minister also reviewed various functions of the Panchayat.
