The most important period in a person's life is his youth. Youth is called the golden age of a person's life. But this youth is as important as it is risky for the youth. Controlling youth is not an easy task, but it is possible. That successful person is the one who can control and utilize his youth. Although it is very challenging for a young person to be good, it is very easy for him to become bad. Because, at this time, numerous evil forces keep calling a young person by their hand. Just as the water on Arum leaves can tremble and fall at any moment, similarly a young person can be ruined at any time. Everything in his life can become chaotic at any time. Looking at the whole world today, we see that the youth class is currently facing various types of problems and crises. They are completely indifferent to the goals and objectives of their life. Therefore, it is our moral responsibility to make the youth aware and try to protect them from the clutches of evil forces. We all know that ' There is no substitute for hard work ' - But in the present time, we can observe the exact opposite picture. Most of the youth generation does not believe in this eternal proverb. They are fully willing and addicted to easy income without hard work. They are addicted to various easy ways such as - online and offline gambling, demands- threats, blackmailing, smuggling, commissions, etc. They are addicted to various dishonest ways. It is noteworthy that this is smart work for them, which is a kind of matter to think about. The expansion of gambling opportunities and their increased promotion, which plays one of the roles, has attracted numerous young players around the world. The driving force behind this trend is online technology and almost universal access to the internet. In the digital age, young people are more attracted to this kind of dishonest income than ever before. In some countries, this easy way of earning money is considered along with drug addiction, smoking and drinking. Moreover, all these behaviors are often mutually reinforcing. This dishonest earning by the youth is spreading and this is a big deal. We all need to come to grips with this new reality where these dishonest opportunities are everywhere. They are cheap and easily available to everyone. Young people who are unaware of the risks and dangers can easily fall into this trap, while parents and other adults fail to recognize and respond to it. On the other hand, online gambling has taken a serious turn in recent times. With smartphones in our hands, they are easily getting caught up in this terrible trap. While this game was once played in cities, with the easy availability of smartphones and the internet, it is now seen even among the young generation in remote rural areas. This online gambling is becoming a big threat to our future generations. People of different ages, especially students and youth, are getting more addicted to this gambling due to greed. Many of them have lost everything due to gambling addiction. Due to this, family unrest and marital strife are increasing. In the lure of earning a lot of money easily, countless people of different ages, including school and college students, are getting involved in this gambling. Many of the young people start this game out of curiosity, but later become addicted. They profit at first and later lose a huge amount of money. It has been learned from talking to some people involved in online gambling that gambling is played by downloading a few designated apps on smartphones. The most gambling is done on about 20 to 25 apps with different names. You can start with any amount of money starting from 10 Rupees in these apps. Most of these apps are being operated from Russia, Malaysia and Indonesia. They have local representatives (agents) in every country. There are such agents in almost every market in the country. They receive or pay money from people participating in gambling through mobile banking. Agents get a commission of at least 50 Rupees per thousand from the operators of foreign apps. Money is being laundered abroad through agents. Crores of Money are being laundered abroad from investments in gambling. According to the World Gambling Market Report, in 2022, the market value of online gambling alone was 63.53 billion US dollars. It was estimated that its scope would increase by 11.7 percent in 2023. But in 2024, its scope would be about 600 billion dollars. However, the graph of the market value of online gambling is gradually rising. According to intelligence information, more than 100 billion is being smuggled out of the country annually. A study revealed that the target of online gambling agents is now popular content creators. Those involved in the IT sector say that although it is possible to block online sites, gambling apps cannot be stopped. Gambling can be played by downloading apps on mobile from Google Play or Apple Store. Yet this kind of easy income is going on, the youth are becoming destitute. They are busy in the present, happy without thinking about the dark future. It should be remembered that everything that is easily available is easily lost. On one hand, a youth society is prepared for UPSC, APSC, ISRO, on the other hand, another youth society is busy with these dishonest earnings addictions. However, as a remedy, family discipline, proper education, and the umbrella of ideal guardians are the main driving force for the change of this youth society.
