Staff Reporter, Guwahati: Assam Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya along with the First Lady, Kumud Devi visited the Navagraha Temple today and paid his obeisance for the wellbeing of all sections of the people of the state. Located atop the scenic ambience of the Chitrachal hill, the Governor offered prayers at the temple, seeking peace, prosperity, and well-being for the people of the state. During the visit, Acharya reflected on the deep spiritual and philosophical significance of the Navagrahas in Indian tradition. He said, “The worship of the Navagrahas is not merely a spiritual ritual, but also a philosophical path that helps us understand the balance, guidance, and mysteries of life. Visiting this sacred site has been a profound peaceful and soulful experience.”
