Selim Sk,Dhubri: An elderly man, Nurul Haque, was detained in Dhubri town after being found scribbling writings on public walls. Haque, who had names and addresses written across his clothes, had reportedly inscribed his own name along with his wife’s, Kachiron Bibi, and their full address: Village – Ghiumari, Panchayat – Gachpara, District – Dhubri. In another development, newly appointed Dhubri Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Leena Doley has taken charge and is already making her presence felt. Under her leadership, 50 people have been arrested in connection with the recent Hanuman Temple incident in Ward No. 3.
