Hareswar Bora, Nagaon: The newly appointed District Commissioner (DC) of Nagaon, Debashish Sarma, took charge of his office today. Earlier in the day, a farewell ceremony was organized for the outgoing DC, Narendra Kumar Shah, at the office of the District Commissioner. The farewell ceremony was presided over by the Chief Executive Officer of the Zila Parishad, Manoj Kumar Chikariya. During the ceremony, the outgoing DC was felicitated by the district administration officials, departmental heads, and staff members of the DC's office. The officials and staff members who attended the ceremony reminisced about their experiences working with the outgoing DC and expressed their gratitude for the guidance and support he provided during his tenure. In his farewell address, Narendra Kumar Shah expressed his gratitude to the officials and staff members for their cooperation and support during his tenure. He also shared some of his experiences and memories from his time in Nagaon. The Chief Executive Officer of the Zila Parishad, Manoj Kumar Chikariya, wished the outgoing DC success in his new role and good health for him and his family.
