Staff Reporter, Bajali: The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) announced the Assam Board Class 12 Result 2025 today, with B H B College, Sarupeta registering an overall pass percentage of 76.23%. Out of 223 students who appeared for the exam, 170 successfully cleared it. According to the official result sheet, 14 students from the college secured First Division, while 46 achieved Second Division and 110 students passed with Third Division. While the number of top scorers remains modest, the overall performance reflects steady progress and commitment to academic excellence. In a noteworthy achievement, more than 14 students secured letter marks in individual subjects such as Assamese, History, Advanced Bodo, Political Science, Education, Economics and Bodo. These results highlight subject-specific strengths and the dedication of both students and subject faculty in these areas. B H B College, known for its role in promoting higher education in the Barpeta district, has maintained a consistent track record. This year's results underscore both the perseverance of the students and the dedicated efforts of the faculty. However, the relatively high number of Third Division pass-outs has raised concerns, indicating a need for enhanced academic support and targeted intervention to boost student performance. Principal Dr. Nayan Jyoti Das and Vice Principal Dr. Dipti Kalita congratulated both the students and the teaching staff for their collective efforts. Dr. Das expressed pride in the achievement and encouraged the students to “focus on their goals attentively” and not merely aim for academic success but also strive “to become good human beings in the future.” He emphasized the importance of character alongside achievement. Addressing the faculty, Dr. Das also called on teachers to be prepared and determined to achieve a 100% pass percentage in the upcoming examinations, reinforcing the college’s commitment to continuous improvement.
