Guwahati, January 27: Pulak Goswami, a pioneering entrepreneur from Guwahati, known for his transformative contributions to the transportation and automobile sectors in the region was awarded the “Excellence in Automobile and Transportation Sector” at the Times Business Award North East 2025 organised by the Times of India Group on January 24, 2025 held at Hotel Vivanta, Guwahati. The award was handed over by Bollywood actors Sharman Joshi and Seema Biswas. Pulak Goswami was recognised for being one of the pioneers in the transportation sector which includes the starting of the AC Bus Service and Night Bus Service in the region. He is also the dealer principal of many Automobile companies like Audi, Yamaha, Mahindra Last Mile and also Tata Motors, Fiat and Eicher in the past. Many entrepreneurs were recognised at the awards from various segments along with Mr Goswami.
