Minister Ajanta Neog attends a review meeting in Hojai

Staff Reporter, Hojai, January 21: Ajanta Neog, Minister, Finance & Women and Child Development, Assam, attended and chaired a review meeting on Women and Child Development at the DC Conference Hall at District Headquarter Srimanta Sankardev Nagar in Hojai on Monday. All the officials of the Department of Women & Child Development (WCD) under Hojai district took part in the meeting. She reviewed the progress of various ongoing schemes in the district such as Model Anganwadi Centres; Beti Bacho, Beti Padhao; Poshan Abhiyaan; Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana etc. and gave necessary instructions and directives to all the officials present. The Meeting was also attended by Ram Krishna Ghosh,MLA, Hojai; Sibu Misra, MLA, Lumding,; Bidyut Bikash Bhagawati, ACS, District Commissioner, Hojai; Jay Shankar Sarma, ACS, CDC, Lumding; Election Officer, Hojai; DSWO, Hojai; CDPOs and other officials of Women and Child Development (WCD) Department among others.
