Guwahati, November 29: VanitAgrata, the women empowerment cell of Assam Don Bosco University has received eNorth East Award 2023 under the Social and Financial Category. The 8th eNorth East Award 2023, which was jointly organized by Council for Social and Digital Development (CSDD), Digital Empowerment Foundation (DEF) and North East Development Foundation on November 24 and 25 at Guwahati. The e-North East Award has been recognizing and promoting innovative digital solutions for sustainable development in the North East Region of India since 2010. Since its inception in 2015, VanitAgrata has been on a mission to uplift women in Assam, and its projects, ShashaktMahila and ShashaktBalika, have been instrumental in achieving this goal. The recognition as the winner of the 8th eNorth East Award 2023, under the leadership of Dr. Gypsy Nandi, Associate Professor, Department of Computer Applications of Assam Don Bosco University serves as motivation to continue pushing boundaries and exploring new avenues for positive change.
