Ajay Devgn purchases five office units in Mumbai worth Rs 45 crore

Entertainment Desk: Actor Ajay Devgn has bought five office units in Mumbai’s Andheri West area. The move comes two years after the actor bought a bungalow spread across 474.4 square metres at Juhu in Mumbai for Rs 47.5 crore, moneycontrol reported. According to documents accessed by CRE Matrix, a data analytics firm, the office units with a total area of 13,293 square feet are located within Signature Building, Oshiwara, along Veera Desai Road. Three units located on the 16th floor are valued at Rs 30.35 crore, and the stamp duty paid was Rs 1.82 crore, according to the report. The units have a built-up area of 8,405 square feet. Two other units purchased by the actor are located on the 17th floor, and are spread across 4,893 square feet (built-up area). These units reportedly cost Rs 14.74 crore. The properties are registered in the name of Vishal (Ajay) Virender Devgan. A few days before Ajay bought the office units, his actor wife Kajol also purchased an apartment–with a carpet area of 2,493 square feet and four car parking spots– in the city, reportedly for Rs 16.5 crore. On the film front, Ajay Devgn was last seen in the actioner Bholaa, co-starring Tabu. The film released in March and was dubbed as a box office disappointment. His line up includes the long-delayed sports drama Maidaan, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha and the third installment of the Singham franchise, expected to release next August.
