Union Bank of India organised mega credit outreach camp

Staff Reporter, Guwahati, January 24: Union Bank of India, Regional Office, Guwahati organised a Mega Credit Outreach Camp on January 24 at a City Hotel to give further impetus to the MSME and Agriculture Sector in the State. The camp was presided over by Prabhat Kumar, Regional Head, Mukesh Bharti Sharma, Deputy General Manager, Central Office, was special guest. The camp was attended by more than 80 entrepreneurs from various sectors. Kumar, while highlighting the importance of the MSME and Agri sector in the economy, also explained the various schemes and initiatives taken by the Bank for the sectors. Special schemes for traders & contractors were well appreciated by the attendees. Sharma highlighted the features of special Govt. of India scheme AIF for development of Agri infra in the Region. Total leads of more than Rs.140.00 Crores were mobilized at the Camp and on the spot in principle approvals of Rs. 59.00 Crores was accorded to various entities.
