Staff Reporter, Biswanath Chariali, October 18: Biswanath College today signed an MoU with University of Science and Technology, Meghalaya (USTM), a university that has recently been awarded the coveted A Grade by NAAC in its first cycle of assessment. Professor Balendra Kumar Das, Pro-Vice Chancellor of the university welcomed the principals and coordinators of IQAC and NSS of eleven colleges of North East India to the grand ceremony of the signing of the MOU. Honorable Vice Chancellor Professor G.D.Sharma called upon the colleges to make the best use of avenues such as FDP, faculty exchange program, students Internship program, holding of seminars and conferences where the colleges and the university can work together. In his comment Dr Chinta Mani Sharma, principal of Biswanath College appreciated the noble gestures of the university and expressed his earnest desire to work with the university. Dr Naresh Thakur, Coordinator IQAC and Rajeswar Boro, Programme Officer, NSS, Biswanath College also attended the ceremony and signed the MoU as witness.
