Alumni offered books to Rampur H.S. School

Staff Reporter, Chhaygaon, October 18: A group of thoughtful alumni had been blessed with their commitment to the school, who appeared in the matriculation examination twenty-five years ago. Nayanmani Borah, Gopal Kumar, Mridul Das, Johnmani Sharma, Dipen Kumar, Bijit Kalita, Nilotpal Goswami, Swapna Das, Bhaskari Kalita Nath, Anuj Medhi, Jahnabi Kalita, Sankar Kalita, Anupam Kalita and many others of 1997 HSLC batch went to Rampur Higher Secondary School and handed over a large number of valuable books worth Fifteen thousand rupees with an almirah to Rampur Higher Secondary School on October 8 last. Such actions by the alumni towards the school gave a lot of encouragement to the school family. The alumni went to their childhood educational institution and became nostalgic. Several teachers and other staff, including senior teachers Arup Das, Aditya Kalita, Hira Medhi were present when the books were handed over to the principal in-charge Anju Bhattacharya. It is worth mentioning that the said alumni batch also contributed rupees 20,000/ to the Rampur Higher Secondary School during celebration of Platinum Jubilee in the month of May 2022. The alumni batch is also assured to provide any kind of assistance for the benefit of the students community in near future also.
