Nagaon, September 28: With a view to excrete the excessive stress and tension among the CRPF personnel and also make the officials as well as jawans to work without stress, the 34 Battalion, CRPF organized 'art of living' a 6 day long yoga training camp at its Nagaon Katimari based battalion headquarters since September 22. The camp, organized under a special initiative of the Ministry of Home affairs, Govt of India, was concluded on Tuesday last. Hanumant Singh Rawat, DIG, CRPF, range Khatkhati was present in the closing session as the chief guest in the camp. While addressing the occasion, DIG Rawat said that hatred and violence can be conquered through love and knowledge. Deep inner peace can be attained through the knowledge of yoga which is called 'art of living' and it has the ability to change the perspective of a person, Rawat added further. S.S. Upadhyay, commandant of 34 Battalion, CRPF said that the training programme would remain unique for the troops as the jawans of the troops had to be away from their families and homes for long which apparently increased the stress on the jawans of the troops. The programme was convened by R.K. Srivastava, Second in Command and other senior officials of the battalion. Over 98 officials as well as CRPF jawans of the battalion participated in the yoga training programme, a release added.
