3 Workers Killed After Gas Leak in Tinsukia

News Desk, Guwahati, September 19: At least three labourers have died while several others sustained serious injuries after a gas leak at a coal mine site in Tinsukia district of Assam on Sunday night. The incident took place at a coal mine site near Congress field. The deceased labourers have been identified as Sahidul Islam, Aasmat Ali and Hussain Ali. Meanwhile, the victims' families claimed that the coal mine's owner buried the bodies in the middle of the night using a JCB in an attempt to cover up the crime. According to sources, the police have yet to arrive on the scene and launch an investigation into the incident.
